In addition to Trumbull's single stream recycling intiative which reduces waste and saves tax dollars, residents have another opportunity to preserve our natural resources by starting a home compost or digester program. The town is selling Garden Gourmet compost bins at the reduced rate of $30 and Green Cone Digesters for $50. There are only 96 composters and 30 digesters left and the sale ends August 24th, 2012.
