Trumbull and St. Joseph Cheerleaders Compete, Covered by MSG

THS varsity cheerleaders were FCIAC Champions in the Co-Ed division.

(Taken from a press release) Fairfield County cheerleading teams will be featured in MSG Varsity’s The Cheering Life: 2013 Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC) Cheerleading Championships. The 90-minute special will air Sunday, March 10th at 9 pm on Optimum TV channel 14.  The show will highlight 15 Connecticut high school cheering squads competing for the all-around title – featuring interviews, full routine coverage and awards presentations.

“We are excited to continue a great tradition of competitive cheerleading by featuring the FCIAC Championships,” said Michael Lardner, Senior Vice President & Executive Producer, MSG Varsity. “These teams represent the best of the best in Connecticut which means another year of intense and thrilling competition.”

“All the hours of practice and training have come down to this one event for these exceptional teams and it’s an honor having MSG Varsity as a partner in bringing the 2013 FCIAC Championships into the homes of those in Fairfield County,” said Dave Schulz, President Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC).
