Kumon of Trumbull is conducting an essay contest for the upcoming Teacher's Appreciation Week.
Forms will be made available at the center.
ESSAY TITLE:
“I Appreciate My Teacher Because . . . (insert reason).”
ESSAY:
Submitted essay must focus on how your school teacher has inspired, mentored or changed the student author. Essays can be creative but must discuss the reason the student author has selected the teacher for the topic of his/her essay. Proper use of grammar and spelling will be taken into consideration.
DUE:
Sat May 14th 2011
ELIGIBILITY:
Grades 1 to 6 (Math and/or Reading).
PRIZES:
$15 gift card for each of the 3 winning student authors
$20 gift card for each of the 3 school teachers
