'Game Night' This Weekend at Trumbull High School

Eight vignettes make up this year's fall production at Trumbull High School, "Game Night."

The show will run Nov. 22 and 23 at 8 p.m. The vignettes are called, "Sorry," "Board to Death," "Prom Queen," "The Field of Clues," "Her Checkered Path," "The Man Who Would be King of Trivia," "Infamy" and "Candy Coated Lies."

"The Classic Board Game collides with the Modern Theater in this collection of short plays inspired by the games we’ve all grown up on. The eight playwrights were randomly paired with a genre and a game, then given 24 hours to write a play. The results were as varied and fun as the games themselves," said senior Larissa Mark, one of the directors.

"Chess, Checkers, Trivial Pursuit, Sorry!, Battleship, Monopoly, Candy Land, and Clue mix with the genres of Comedy, Drama, Mystery and Fantasy – creating a unique evening of theatre unlike any other."

Tickets are $5 general admission and available at the door.
