Getting His Degree, 7 Months Later

Ryan Boyle, who battled back after a two-month coma, finally graduated from St. Joseph High School.

Coma patient and former St. Joseph High School student Ryan Boyle got his diploma recently. He would have graduated in June 2012 but he left to get more rehabilitation. Boyle was in a coma for two months at age 9 after he was hit by a truck and dragged 55 feet. He had to relearn everything.
