Guilford Principal Named to Trumbull High School Post

Marc Guarino will replace retiring THS Principal Robert Tremaglio staring in July, said Supt. Ralph Iassogna.

Tremaglio is taking over as director at the Agriscience Center, near THS. (Iassogna himself is retiring in July, after 14 years as superintendent.)

Guarino is assistant principal of Guilford High School, where is concluding his fifth year, and before that was Guilford’s Department Chairman of the Social Studies Department, Iassogna said.

"He was most impressive in the interview process which included a committee consisting of representation from the staff, student body, parents and community members," according to the superintendent.
