THS Musical Takes 4 Awards

Trumbull High School, nominated in 11 categories for the Connecticut
High School Musical Theater Awards, took home 4 honors on Monday, June
4.  Over 75 student performers and crew spent the day at the Palace
Theater in Waterbury, CT rehearsing and then attending and performing
at the gala event.

THS received recognition for:

Best Choreography (Frank Root);

Best Featured Ensemble (Jenna Bellofiore, Sarah Tyler, Gabby
Gottschall, Kaelyn Mostafa, Emily Ruchalski & Annie Stachura);

Assistant Musical Director, Student Achievement Award (Annie Lane)

Lighting Design, Student Achievement (Greg St. Germain)

As nominees for Outstanding Production of the Year, the cast of THE
WIZ opened the evening's festivities with a performance of "Everybody
Rejoice."  Dr. Robert Tremaglio presented an award during the event
and last year's Best Male Lead winner, Max Gottschall, performed a

Congratulations to the cast and crew!!! Trumbull High School has for years produced amazing productions!! These awards verify what we already knew, THS has some amazing students and their moderator, Mrs. Spillane and her team are amazing!!
