Trumbull Students Decorate The Westfield Trumbull Mall

Proud parents and grandparents packed a corner of the Trumbull Mall Thursday night to see art work by Trumbull's students from grades Kindergarten through 12.
"We are so proud of you and we're here to celebrate you and your achievements," said Laura Hunt, a teacher at Daniels Farm School.
The artwork represents 10 to 12 percent of the student work, she said. "You are the best of the best. Congratulations."
First Selectman Tim Herbst said he was impressed with the work.
"It's very important we showcase this every year," he said. "This is beautiful."
The work will be displayed near Harstan's Jewelers through June 5.
