Non-Fiction Discussion Group: The Director's Club! Brown Bag Lunch Meeting. Wed. June 6, 12–1pm. This month's title is: Twilight at Monticello, The Final Years of Thomas Jefferson, by Alan Pell Crawford.  An entirely new, unprecedented look at the intimate Jefferson.  Director's Club will take a summer break until Wed. Sept. 5. Check in late summer for upcoming titles.  

Upcoming:  Friends' of the Library Book Nook Sale.  Sat. June 9, 9am - 3pm.

Beach Reads … @ the Trumbull Library – Adult Summer Reading 2012 starts June 28. 

Childrens’ Programs

Family Chess Club. Sat. June 2, 10am - 12pm.  Chess learners and experts from 4 to 94 are welcome. Meet in the Children's Section with your own board, or come to watch.  Club meets the first and third Saturdays.  Last class for summer.  Free.

Tamil Language Class.  Sat. June 2, 1:30 – 4:30pm.  Last class for summer. 

Catch the Reading Wave:  Summer Reading and Events at the Main Library Children’s Dept.  Registration starts June 25th.  Kickoff event June 30th.  Details at the Library.   

Fairchild Nichols Branch

 BooZoo is Coming to Town!  This adorable lab/beagle puppy loves reading books and telling stories to children!  Join us!   Sat. June 2, 11 – 11:30am.

Well, I never been to Monticello, but I would read the book, I'm certain that ole TJ helped me pass the foreign service exam, while I was at Yale.......
