  • Greenwich, CT

A long time Greenwich resident, Deborah spent most of her childhood years at her family home in Westchester and on Longboat Key, Florida, where her family had another residence.  Due to the influences of both, the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico and her father’s passion for photography, Deborah has a deep appreciation for nature and developed hobbies as an avid shell collector and a nature photographer.

Her love of nature and animals was apparent at an early age; in fact, her very first real job was working for a Veterinarian, at age 15.

Currently, Deborah is a Connecticut state certified rehabilitator for orphaned and injured baby mammals and non-migratory birds, and her specialty is fostering baby rabbits until they are old enough for release.

Other credentials:

Advisory Board Member for the Connecticut Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (CWRA),

Member of the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (NWRA),

Volunteer for Wildlife In Crisis (WIC),

Animal Care Volunteer for the New Canaan Nature Center (birds of prey, mammals including rabies vector species)

Deborah received her Veterinary Assistant Certification from Norwalk Community College.
