I was born in Manahttan (never mind what year!), grew up in Maspeth, Queens, and went to high school on the Queens/Brooklyn border. I have done the whole tri-state thing- Queens, Long Island, Manhattan, New Jersey, and now here in Connecticut, the most beautiful place I have ever lived. I have worked in the medical field as various assisting jobs and I currently write a gardening and a cooking column for the Waterbury Republican American Newspaper. I am very excited to staringt a new job at Woman's Health Associates in Danbury and Southbury.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from NYU. I majored in Film and Television and I was one of two Film & Televison graduates to win The Founder's Day Award. My Aunt Rose got mad at me because I hung the award in my guest bathroom, an appropriate spot for a degree in film making.
I'm trying to make a difference, and leave the world a better place. I have a passion for my causes, especially all the young, wounded young soldiers returning to our country, and hope that I can spread it onto you through my writing.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you have an idea for a fundraiser that would benefit Homes For Our Troops, please get in touch with me through my Newtown Beautiful Baby Facebook page or through my blog articles on Patch.
