Trumbull High School Concert Choir to Perform with Greater Bridgeport Symphony

The Trumbull High School Choirs are preparing for an exciting, song-filled December.

On Saturday, December 14 the Trumbull High School Concert Choir has the honor of performing with the Greater Bridgeport Symphony at 7:30 pm at the Klein Auditorium.  The Concert Choir will appear at the end of the program performing Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus and Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus from his epic Messiah.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to work with a professional conductor and orchestra,” said Choir Director Anne Tornillo.

The Concert Choir, the Chamber Singers, the Freshman Chorus, the Women’s Ensemble and the Men’s Ensemble will perform.  Choir Director Anne Tornillo will conduct these groups in a variety of holiday music.  The evening will conclude, as it always does, with another joyful Hallelujah Chorus, an annual tradition at Trumbull High when all the choral groups combine on stage joined by chorus alumni from the audience.

Music embodies the spirit of the season – we hope you will join us for one or both of these events.
