"The People In The Front Car Suffered Quite A Hit"

A Milford man on one of the derailed trains says he saw numerous people lying down outside the first car as he exited his train.
Michael Ellis said, "We felt it right away. Everbody lunged forward. My bag went flying. The people in the front car suffered quite a hit."
While he didn't see any blood on the wounded, he said many were lying on the ground being tended by medics.
Monroe ambulances, AMR and Bridgeport Police and Firefighters responded.
Ellis noted that he was not a regular commuter.
"I haven't been on the train in a little while," he said.
