What's happening at the Trumbull Library.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday -- Libraries Closed on Mon. Jan. 21, 2013.

 

Demo:  Free E-Book Downloading through the Library!  Wed. Jan. 23, 10 – 11:30am.  Lecture / demonstration of the Overdrive system for downloading electronic books, audiobooks and videos to your computer, ebook reader, or hand-held device.  Several different ebook readers for you to try after the presentation!  Trumbull residents.  Register.  

 

New:  Young Adult Book Discussion Group & Pizza.  Wed. Jan. 23, 4 – 5pm.  Teens and Tweens!  Join us for an organizational meeting for a new YA book discussion group. We will decide on a day and time to meet and choose the first book for our February meeting. Pizza provided so come hungry!  Register. 

 

Choose Accounting Software:  Why Use and What to Think About.  Thurs. Jan. 24, 6:30 – 7:30-pm. Part 1 of two part Accounting Series presented by Caren Schwartz of Time & Cents Consultants.  Part 2 on Tues. Feb. 12, 6:30pm.  Details online.  Register.   Free.

  Borrow free digital audio books through the State’s service.  See the player, a tape, and other details at the Trumbull Main Library, and get an application!

 Poetry Workshop with Ellen Carpenter for Children Grades 1 - 3.  Sat. Jan. 19, 2 – 3pm.  Fourth in a series of poetry workshops for children, conducted by Trumbull High School student and poetry enthusiast Ellen Carpenter!  Topic is to be determined.  Register.  Free.  

 

Storytime Registration Starts 1/14/13!  Sign up; storytimes themselves start the first week of February.
