What's In Your Food? A Lecture on GMOs and Food Labeling.  Tues. Nov. 13, 6:30 – 8pm.  Tara Cook-Littman, leader of the group GMO Free CT, will present tonight's talk on Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs):  what they are, how they affect our health and environment, and why food products should be properly labeled.  Details online.  Drop in.  Free.

Storytime for 2 ½ - 3 Year Olds.  Tues. Nov. 13, 10:30–11am or Wed. Nov. 14, 9:30-10am. Eye-catching books, fingerplays, music, and a themed craft make for a wonderful learning experience for our young pre-readers and their caregivers. Trumbull children or caregivers.  Register.  

 

Storytime for 4's & 5's. Tues. Nov. 13, 11 – 11:30am. Storytime friends gather to hear age appropriate stories and create a take-home craft. Children or caregivers living in Trumbull only. Space limited. Register.  

 

Baby Cafe - 6 months to 2 years. Wed. Nov. 14, or Thurs. Nov. 15, 11 – 11:30am. Baby's first introduction to the library! Babies and caregivers can expect a jam-packed session of rhythm and rhymes guaranteed to enchant our littlest explorers. Drop in!

Branch Adult Event:  Trumbull Then and Now:  Recently Digitized Photos Shared by the

Trumbull Historical Society!  Sat. Nov. 10, 11am – 12pm.  Tonight we will enliven our history, and discuss the people, their stories, and the historical context in these recently-digitized photographs brought to the Fairchild Nichols Branch Library, from 1860s - 1950s! Bring your own photos and share your stories!  Audience participation encouraged!  Presented by members of the Society.  Registration required.  Free.  Hot cider and donuts!
