Tashua Principal Resigning After 10 Years

Tashua School Principal Charlotte Janis is resigning to help her parents after 10 years leading the school.

In her resignation letter, Janis said her parents live out-of-state.

Janis will stay on part-time to assist the interim principal.

"It goes without saying she'll be missed," said School Board Chairman Steve Wright.

"It was has been a privilege to work at Tashua School," Janis said in her letter.

The district will look inside and outside of the district for a permanent replacement, according to the Board of Education.
