THS Marching Band Thanks Donors

The following is a letter to the editor.

The 150 musicians who make up the town's award winning high school marching band would like to thank all residents who answered their doors when the students rang their bells asking for financial support.

"Not only do these dedicated students practice countless hours each week, they need to raise funds in order to travel to the bowl games and nationally known parades where they proudly represent our town," noted "Door to Door" fundraising co-chair Ann Rosenburg.

"We would like to remind all those who weren't home to answer their doors and others who took an envelope and promised to send in their donations, to please put their check in the envelope they received, put a stamp on it and put in in their mailbox. This is the band's largest fundraiser of the year," she added.

The band's Fall season is in full swing and all residents can come see their donations put to good use at the band's Fall Classic on September 28th at Trumbull High School starting at 6 p.m. Those donors who contributed $25 or more will receive a free ticket to the Classic and those contributing $50 or more will receive two free tickets.
