This weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities offers new places to try out with the kids. Each week we’re giving you all the info. you need on the five best family activities or events for the week.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

When: on Fri., Feb. 18 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Why Go: Trumbull Middle School teens can come down to the center and enjoy pool tables, ping-pong, air hockey, foosball, half-court basketball, arcade games, a dvd player, music and more. It is only open to Trumbull residents.

Why Go:  Selva Selvarajan's Family Chess Club welcomes learners and experts from 6 to 96 to come plat, or come to watch.

Where/When:    on Sun., Feb. 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Why Go:  Open to for kids in grade 6-8 this group offer activities including discussion, fellowship and monthly Christian Outreach and holds special recreational, retreat and outreach events throughout the year.
