This week, enjoy a puppet show, drop by the library for some fun time with the baby and sign the kids up for soccer this Spring.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK





Where/When: , weekly on Wednesdays from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Why Go: For kids age 8-12, this offers a chance to create puppets and perform. A performance for the public will be held on Tues., April 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Pricing:  FREE. Please register online.




Where/When:  Advance Auto Parts stores at the Bridgeport, Derby and East Haven locations on Mar. 10 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Why Go: Check out 3 Monster Jam trucks that will be part of the upcoming show at the Harbor Yard which will be on display along with their drivers.
Pricing: $10.25 for kids age 2 to 12, and $20.25 for adults.



Where/When: on Mar. 12 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Why Go:  Learn all about the history of maple sugaring and the modern process of collecting sap and making it into maple syrup. Enjoy a warm pancake breakfast.
Pricing:  $5 for members, $6 for non-members // Children 6 and under $2, under 2 FREE.




Where/When:  , March 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Why Go: Register kids for the Spring 2011 season. All players must be Trumbull residents and turn 4 years old before Sept. 30. Pre-Registration required.
Pricing:   Payment of $95 must accompany application. Cash or Checks only.




Where/When:   March 10, 2011 10:00am–10:30am
Why Go: Trumbull children age 6 months through 2 years of age can drop in with a caregiver for a special storytime with books, music, fingerplay and fun.
Pricing:  FREE. No registration required.
