Snow Forecast for Wednesday and Friday

After some warmer temperatures, winter is giving us a reminder.

There will be a 20 percent chance of precipitation and slight chance of snow showers after 2 p.m. tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

The forecast, from noaa.gov, calls for:

  • Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 25. Northwest wind 11 to 17 mph.
  • Tuesday: Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 8. Wind chill values as low as -3. West wind 14 to 16 mph.
  • Wednesday:  A slight chance of snow showers after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 23. Northwest wind 14 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

On Friday, there will be a 60 percent chance of snow after 3 p.m. but it's not clear how much will accumulate.

Meanwhile, temperatures through Monday are expected to stay at freezing or below falling into the teens and single digits at night.
