Trumbull Library Says Thanks

by Susan Horton

As Director of the System it has been my pleasure to work with the committed committee members, knowledgeable presenters and generous sponsors who planned and successfully implemented Trumbull’s 3rd One Book One Town project based on Charles Frazier’s award winning first novel, Cold Mountain. Programming for this year’s month-long program focused on various aspects of the American Civil War. There was truly something for everyone this year and the original concept of an entire community coming together to discuss issues, share insights and enjoy programs was enthusiastically embraced by the Trumbull community.

I am indebted to the following businesses, individuals and organizations who donated resources, times and talents to create a truly magnificent series of interesting programs.

Artists of Trumbull
For their creative, thought-provoking art work in the “United We Stand” Poster Contest, with special thanks to Art Teacher Dorothy Schultz of Christian Heritage School for engaging so many her students in the project.
