TNAC Geocaching, is a program designed to inspire the community to get outside and explore the beautiful parks of Trumbull.

A Global Positioning Sensor (GPS) is used to find coordinates,to look for a box hidden somewhere in a designated Park area. When you find the box, it will have a small container inside with a trinket and a notepad. The person

who finds it has to write their name and date on the pad, they then take the ‘prize’ out of the box and replace it with something else. What you

put in, can be anything, even just a note.

The cache box coordinates are marked ‘easy’, ‘moderate’, and ‘challenging’ according to the difficulty in terrain, and/or how well they are hidden..
