2 Allegedly Steal About $1,000 in Macy's Items

More recent arrests by Trumbull police.

Deneika Hinds, 26, of Bradley Street, Bridgeport, and Kay Karlene Palmer, 28, of Belleville, N.J., are each charged with fourth-degree larceny.

Police said the pair placed several items in bags while inside the dressing room of Macy's.

They were detained as they tried to leave the store, police said. They had clothing, headphones, umbrellas, cell phone cases, purses and wallets, police added.

Their bonds were set at $5,000 each.

Heather Anne Johnson, 43, of Burlington, is accused of violating a protective order.

Johnson has been arrested repeatedly for similar charges in the past. Her bond was set at $2,000.

Robert William Berry, 23, of Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, is charged with violating a restraining order. Police said he called her on the phone and left messages, in violation of the order. He was arrested at his home and his bond was set at $500.

Matthew B. Hernandez, 27, of Huntington Road, Trumbull, is charged with breach of the peace. Michael R. Hernandez, 23, of Myrtle Avenue, Shelton, is charged with second-degree breach of the peace.

Winona Nikketta Thomas, 33, of Madison Avenue, Bridgeport is charged with fifth-degree larceny. Her bond is set at $500.

Lauri Ann Demichele, 47, of Hall Street, New Haven, is charged with sixth-degree larceny and interfering with police. Her bond was set at $15,000.
