DUIs, Larceny Charged in Trumbull

More arrests from Trumbull Police

Two DUIs

Two Bridgeport residents were accused of drunken driving in Trumbull recently.

Donald R. Pulieri, 55, of Marion Street, is charged with driving under the influence. Police said he failed to follow an officer's instructions in the construction zone in Trumbull Center and officers smelled alcohol in his car. His blood-alcohol content was tested at 0.295 and 0.279, above the legal limit of 0.08.

Katja M. Etzold, 33, of Canterbury Road, is charged with driving under the influence, failure to keep drugs in their original container and possession of narcotics.

Police said she was stopped while she slept in her car with the engine running at Main Street and Stonehouse Road. When officers approached, she allegedly told them she thought she was in Monroe.

She also had pills in the car, police added. She was allegedly unable to take field sobriety tests.

Her bond was set at $500.

Additionally, Tyler Joseph Paolini, 18, of Inwood Road, Trumbull, is charged with violating conditions of release and violating a restraining order. Police said he called and texted a woman he was ordered not to contact.
