Trumbull Cops: Bridgeport Man Broke Into Home

Phillip Michael Rivera, 27, of Bunnell Street, Bridgeport, is charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny.

Police said a neighbor saw Rivera enter a home and exit the house with a bag, after a Uhaul truck was seen nearby. The neighbor then yelled at the man, who fled, police said.

When officers entered the home, a 32-inch television was found in a hallway.

The alleged burglar fled with $3,723 in items including jewelry, police said.

Rivera is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond for a July 29 appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
