Vincent Anthony Rigoli, 29, of DeForest Street, Seymour, is charged with DUI, assaulting a police officer, interfering, refusal to be fingerprinted and driving without insurance.
Police said Rigoli drove over several lawns off Daniels Farm Road and hit mailboxes and planters. He also allegedly walked away from the car, and spit at a police officer when he was questioned.
He refused a Breathalyzer test, police added.
His bonds totaled $15,500 and he's scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court.
