Trumbull Cops: Man Threatened Woman [Updated]

This story has been changed upon further review of the police report. Patch regrets the initial inaccuracy. The arrested party did not threaten a "Sandy Hook" style shooting.

Kevin James Fabrizio, 22, of Blackhouse Road, is charged with first-degree threatening, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order.

Police said Fabrizio was arguing with a woman whom he pushed. He also made threats, police said.

Fabrizio had been ordered by the court to stay away from the woman, police said.

His bond was set at $5,000 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.

How dare you defame someone's character that you don't even know and how dare you further interrupt the emotional health of the parties involved without knowing the true account of the story? I am Kevin's Aunt, and I too stand by my sister, Kevin and her family. The type of intervention that someone as fragile as Kevin needs right now is not your slander or discriminatory remarks made against him when you truly have no idea of what transpired or just how many people you have hurt by your postings. Shame on you for allowing such shallow, face-value comments to be posted publically. I wish this insensitivity on no one- Kevin is an intelligent, sensitive individual who is in need, right now, of help that unfortunately, our system so lacks in giving him because of comments like yours. My hope is that no one takes these outrageous accusations to heart and sends prayers out to this family who is in need right now of some human empathy and understanding.

I repeat, he did not threaten a school shooting.

Aaron I think you need to change your headline because it still references Sandy Hook

I checked. it looks updated to me. Could you please try refreshing your browser? Sometimes changes are not reflected immediately.

Based on the new information in the story, my previous comments no longer apply -- hence the reason I removed them. I am sorry that you had to go through this and I hope your son will get the help he needs.
