A YouTube video reportedly helped Trumbull Police to identify a suspect involved in an illegal street race on Route 25 that occurred in January.
According to a report on WTNH, police responded to a report of racing on the highway on Jan. 27, but one of the drivers managed to flee in his vehicle without being identified.
One of the suspects reportedly made a video of the street race posted it to YouTube. Police were reportedly able to use the video to identify the driver who fled as 22-year-old Joseph Rodriguez.
Rodriguez was arrested on April 23 and charged with racing on a highway, reckless driving, and engaging police in pursuit, according to the WTNH report.
