discussion to talk about their physical changes that occur during this time.

This workshop is designed to help parents and caregivers of special needs students learn how better o prepare their students to understanding the physical development that he/she will experience during this period of their life and how it is a normal, natural part of the human life cycle. In addition, you can learn how you can help your student begin to develop an acceptance of his/her body and the new physical characteristics.

Speakers:

Dr. Robert Chessin : a local pediatrician who specializes in children with special needs and is an health class instructor for Trumbull Public Schools

Caroyln Butler : Trumbull Public School Department Chair for school psychology and social work
