Trumbull Exploring Sharing Custodial Costs with Monroe and Stratford

The town is researching combining custodial and maintenance services for Trumbull Stratford and Monroe.

Bridgeport Regional Business Council (BRBC) President Paul Timpanelli said he will study estimates for all three towns in areas including number of school buildings, square footage of those buildings and land, and custodial/maintenance costs of personnel and equipment.

Monroe and Stratford are cooperating, he added. But Schools Plant Manager Steve Kennedy was concerned, saying the town should not “underestimate how much control you’ll be ceding.”
