Christian Heritage School Seniors Jessica Cicerchia and James Tauble are stepping into the world of collegiate sports.
Cicerchia will be playing softball at Liberty University, Virginia and Tauble wlll play baseball at Sacred Heart University, Fairfield.
Cicerchia plays three sports including softball, and Tauble has played baseball for several years.
Christian Heritage Athletic Director John Egan said earning a Division 1 Scholarship is not easy. "It takes a lot of effort, even for gifted athletes."
Taube, 18, is the son of John and Carol Taube of New Haven, and Cicerchia, 17, is the daughter of Cheryl and Robert Cicerchia of Seymour. Cicerchia also plays basketball and soccer.
Christian Heritage is a non-denominational K-12 school.
